Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with us at Teravita Wellness. Please read this Refund Policy carefully to understand your rights and how we handle returns, exchanges and refunds.
- Scope of this Policy
This policy applies to purchases made through our website or authorised sales channels.
We make a distinction between two product categories:
- Consumable products (including all matcha tea powders, consumables, moringa powder, spirulina powder, acai berry powder and super greens powder.
- Non-perishable items (for example bowls, chasen, spoon or any non-perishable items sold by Teravita Wellness).
- No Refunds on Consumable products
Because our teas and superfoods are a consumable food product with freshness and quality considerations, we do not offer refunds for any of our consumable products.
Once a perishable product has been purchased and delivered, we cannot accept returns or issue a refund for that product.
- Refunds for Non-Perishable Food Items
For non-perishable food items, we offer the following refund/exchange policy:
- You may request a refund or exchange for a non-perishable food item within 10 days of delivery.
- The item must be unused, in the same condition as when received, and in its original packaging.
- Return Shipping costs must be paid by you and is non-refundable. Shipping costs from our side are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. unless the return is due to our error (defect, incorrect item, etc.).
- If the returned item is damaged, missing parts or not in its original condition (through no fault of ours), we will not be granting a refund.
- Gifts
If the non-perishable item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you and you wish to exchange, please send us an email to support@teravitawellness.com along with the order number and we will proceed with the exchange.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
- Defective or Incorrect Items
If you believe you have received a defective, damaged or incorrect item (perishable or non-perishable food), please contact us immediately at support@teravitawellness.com with your order number, a description and photo of the issue.
For perishable products, while we cannot provide refunds, we will evaluate the claim and, if the issue is attributable to our fulfilment (e.g., manufacturing defect, shipping damage), we may offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion.
6. Steps to Request Refund/Exchange
- Contact our customer support at support@teravitawellness.com mentioning your order number, the product(s) in question, the reason for the request and whether you are seeking a refund or exchange.
- Ship the parcel to Teravita, A203, RKS Godrej, Dreamland Society, Chembur, Mumbai, 400071. We will confirm your parcel via email and approve refund or exchange.
- For exchanges, you are responsible for return shipping unless we specify otherwise. Use a trackable shipping service when sending the parcel if the value is more than Rupees 500 as we cannot guarantee we’ll receive the returned item otherwise.
- Once the item is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of your refund status. If approved, your refund will be processed within two business days to the same method of payment.
- If exchange, once approved, you will be notified via email and the exchange item will be shipped out in two business days.
7. Timing of Refunds
Please allow four business days after approval for the refund to appear in your account. If you haven’t received it after this period, you may contact your bank or credit card company, since processing times vary by institution.
8. Sale/ Promotional Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded (in the category of non-perishable food items). Sale or promotional items are exempt from refunds.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects when changes were made. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
